Yoga for Cyclists

yogaforcyclistsGillian offers yoga classes for cyclists. These sessions are specifically tailoured towards cyclists. A typical session might focus on:

  • Stretching and strengthening muscles
  • Poses to open particular problem areas, e.g. tight hips
  • Yoga techniques to aid mental acuity and focus
  • Specific poses to aid recovery from injury
  • Balance work to help coordination and core strength
  • Pranayama – breathing techniques to improve performance
  • Restorative yoga to aid recovery and improve sleep
