Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is the tailoured application of yoga practices and tools to help people with specific health conditions. While a general yoga class can be wonderful for strengthening and relaxing the body and calming the mind, they may be ineffective or possibly inadvisable for more serious health conditions. A series of private yoga therapy sessions can help people suffering from serious health problems by tailouring the yoga to suit the person's needs. Yoga Therapy can be helpful for a whole range of conditions, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Anxiety, Depression, M.E., Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fybromyalgia and fertility problems.

Yoga Therapy uses a combination of physical asanas (postures), breathing and relaxation techniques and meditation to help bring your body and mind back into balance. You will be able learn these tools yourself and take them away to practice yourself to improve your own health.
