Gillian offers post-natal yoga classes at your home or a place convenient to you. These can be 1-1 sessions with you and your baby, or perhaps you have some friends who have just become mums and may wish to join you for a small group class along with their babies.
Post-natal yoga is tailored specifically for the needs of the new mum and will help you regain strength and energy after the birth of your baby. It is a gentle way of building strength again in the pelvic floor, the abdomen and back muscles and legs, and also helps relieve aches and pains associated with pregnancy, childbirth and the continuing care of your new child. Specifically, yoga can be really beneficial in alleviating pelvic, back and shoulder pain and aching joints. Relaxation techniques will help reduce fatigue and make you feel more energised, calm and relaxed, allowing you to enjoy connecting with your baby.
